The Church today meets social justice needs in our communities that seem to be increasing every year: homelessness, food insecurity, etc.
In our daily work, St. James/Santiago Episcopal Church of Lincoln City strives to “Do Justice, Love Mercy and Walk Humbly” with God. The theme from this year’s Diocesan Convention is a reminder of what we are called to do and where our resources are needed. Please prayerfully consider your part in Christ’s vision for St. James/Santiago this coming year with a pledge of financial support.
Our small parish in Lincoln City is a whirlwind of weekly activity—serving its Anglo and Latino parishioners each Sunday, educating over 40 students at St. James Santiago School each weekday, feeding dozens of hungry people through the Community Meal Program and providing meeting space for Alcoholics Anonymous. Healing prayer, care for people in difficult circumstances and financial and moral outreach to the community happen every day.
